Among Us is a popular online multiplayer game based on social deduction where the crewmates have to identify an imposter. The set-up of the game is designed in space. The game is developed and published by Innersloth and is designed by Marcus Bromander. In Among Us, the players are divided into crewmates and imposters. The objective of the crewmates is to identify and eliminate the imposter while completing their assigned tasks whereas the imposters’ aim to kill the crewmates before they complete their task. For eliminating a player, all the players need to vote after either calling an emergency meeting or after reporting a dead body. The crewmates if they successfully manage to eliminate all the imposters or complete all the tasks. The imposter can win if they manage to kill all the crewmates or create critical sabotage which the crewmates fail to resolve.
How to Play Among Us?
A minimum of four players and a maximum of ten players can participate in a game of Among Us. In each round, a minimum of one and a maximum of three players are randomly chosen as imposter based on the settings created by the host. The game supports four maps:
- The Skeld: spaceship
- MIRA HQ: headquarters building
- Plus: planet base
- Airship
When the number of participants is fulfilled, the participants are randomly divided into crewmates and imposters. The crewmates need to complete minigames which are present in the form of tasks. The imposter is also assigned false tasks which help them to blend with the crewmates. Imposter comes with the power of sabotaging the vital system, killing the cremates and also they can travel through the vents.
If a teammate dies, they have the option to continue the game as a ghost. The ghost can travel across the walls and have the freedom to chat with other ghosts. Also, their vision gets extended. The ghosts can help their teammates by completing the task. An imposter ghost can still sabotage the game. For helping the crewmates to identify the imposter, a surveillance system is present in each map, which one can use to monitor the movement of their fellow players. For eliminating a player, the players can either report a dead body or call for an emergency meeting. After which, a discussion takes place in a textual message followed by voting. The player who earns the maximum number of votes is eliminated. If two or players manage to get the same amount of vote, no elimination takes place.

What are the different tasks Among Us?
The tasks presented in Among Us are divided into three categories: short, long and common tasks. The short tasks can complete in a while, while the long tasks take a bit more time to complete. The tasks which are common for all the crewmates are known as common tasks.
How can the imposter sabotage the game?
